Show Notes

In this fifth episode of Into the Pray, we hover, we pore, we linger over a well-known/not-well-known word that we have no doubt is 'the' word and what the living, returning Christ is bellowing to His sleepy, arrogant, bewitched body on Earth.

Drawing briefly on the pop 'wisdom' soundbites of some leading experts in their field, (philosophy and parenting), we take a direct 'in the mirror' look at two of the common responses to COVID-19, one of which is particularly foolish and that all-too uncannily reflects the folly of the Church as we grapple with the questions, "What is God saying?" and "What should we be doing?".

The fact that the Church is in widespread chaos, especially in the West, warrants an unhurried, meandering stroll - if you like - through the ruins of the ancient ways that Jeremiah banged on about.

We love Jeremiah, especially the tears he was known for shedding.

We need more tears.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be picking back up where we left off with Steve Buckley and John Hampton.
