Nick & Mairi Franks

In this eighth episode of Into the Pray, and our mini-series Chaos, we take our social media lives into our hands by challenging whether God's voice for us at this time is really heard by listening to the UK Blessing video that has now had more than 2 million views on YouTube.

Isn’t it profoundly naive to think that the spiritual narratives that are receiving awards from tabloids and Prime Ministers are even close to what God is saying?

Instead, imagine if BoJo saw a viral Christian video calling the U.K. Church to repent over the “redefinition of marriage”, the calamity of abortion and the incomprehensibly tragic gender disaster.

Go ahead!

Imagine if our national leaders today saw a Church truly uniting in holy accord and agreement around the things that God says about God and our repentance of the fact that we have spent centuries not doing this.

IMAGINE THAT!

Rather, as we argue, isn't it the case that the pop video in question has proven to be a viral distraction for a national U.K. landscape that is very much lacking either the clarity or courage of leadership to pave the way for us all to go where we really need to be?

Please think carefully - and biblically - before commenting or getting in touch: what is your conviction about this specific issue actually based on?

The remarkable, life-changing message that we cite from Ugandan leader John Mulinde can be seen here
