Show Notes

This is the tenth session in our biblical study through the book of 1 Corinthians. Today Nick spends some time in chapter 4 vv 7-13.

Who are the real Kings? Who are the real paupers?

The city of Corinth was a city of temples but not the primarily kind that Satan wanted - not so much a city filled with the shrine temples of Apollo or Aphrodite, not so much a city dominated by the colossal features of the Acrocorinth; but a city permeated by disruptive, holy, maturing temples of Yahweh, disciples filled with the gracious Holy Spirit of God.

As we'll come to next week, "...the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."

God knows that His people need to experience more power.

As we continue to embark on this "Work for Reformers" we are increasingly finding ourselves out of our depth in terms of space, capacity and time.

Therefore, if you're interested in helping to regularly support what we're doing, please consider regular giving here. https://firebrandnotes.com/give

Thank you!

Come, Lord!
