Greetings, All!

This is our next session in the book of 1 Corinthians and one that strikes us as being particularly poignant as we resume our journey and come now to virtually the halfway point of this book.

While dealing with engaged couples and widows, is there any wonder that Paul injects this radical "eschatological awareness" at this point in his letter? Of course not!

In the words of David Prior,

“Perhaps it is more than time for Christians to ask themselves questions which demand even more radical answers on the basis of Paul’s teaching in this chapter.”

If this was true in 1985, how much more true is this today?

Beloved Church, we must watch and pray and be prepared to make radical changes to our lives, in His wisdom and grace.

You can see some footage of the power kite I mention today in this video here. (This is my showreel for my tent-making work so please forward it to anyone who may be interested!).

If you would like to help support this podcast and the wider work we're pioneering, we would be very grateful as we increasingly find ourselves at capacity in more ways than one. You can give here.

Finally, here is a medley of songs (all written before 1980) that we have been comforted by in recent  days.

Come, Lord Jesus!

Love
