Greetings All!

Thank you for taking the time to listen to this podcast - we're grateful for everyone who listens every week.

With Luke's words in Luke 24:27 very much in mind, today we go through a rapid overview of the life of the prophet Moses.

Moses was in many ways unique among the prophets. Both Mediator, Deliverer and an exemplar as a man of prayer, he knew deep friendship with Yahweh and was used mightily to redeem the Hebrews from Egyptian slavery.

Ultimately, Moses points us towards a greater exodus that is yet to happen and one that will cause the former to pale into relative insignificance.

“Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when it shall no longer be said, ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the land of Egypt,’but ‘As the LORD lives who brought up the people of Israel out of the north country and out of all the countries where he had driven them.’ For I will bring them back to their own land that I gave to their fathers." (Jeremiah 16:14-15).
