Hello!

*UPDATE: you can listen to the song of praise we wrote after this two-part podcast here*

Today's midweek episode of Into the Pray finishes an impromptu 15 minute devotional that Nick posted on Sunday morning. If you've not listened to that you can do so for context here.

Psalm 106 and Psalm 107 relate very closely by helping us to understand the timeless way that the LORD works in the personal and corporate lives of His covenant people.

Remember Moses who turned aside to see the burning bush? Remember that it was only then that the LORD spoke?  (Read Exodus 3)

Therefore, what is this heart-cry of these Psalms that the LORD is looking for from His people at this time? What is the nature of this cry?

Indeed, where is this cry?

We'd encourage you to sing a new song to Jesus. Perhaps you could compose something new? Perhaps you could be spontaneous? Perhaps you might be brave enough to actually allow the thankfulness of your heart to convert into actual singing in a public way?

A recently written song of worship that was part of our Calling YESHUA project reflects more of the lament of this Psalm's cry. Mairi and I will post another song in the forthcoming weeks that conveys more of its hope-filled joy.

If you haven’t watched Calling YESHUA yet, you can do so here.

You can also download the song for free here.
